The kid friendly campground is a sure hit for the kids and it's educational too! You will be just minutes from D.C.'s landmarks, monuments and museums; historic Annapolis, home of the United States Naval Academy; the Inner Harbor, Ft. McHenry, and the Babe Ruth Museum in Baltimore, Maryland.
At the Capitol KOA Campground there is always something fun to do right at the campground. Throw some horseshoes, shoot some pool, challenge your kids to a game of badminton or ping-pong, and swim a few laps in the pool. Take a hike on the nature trail behind the campground to see the beautiful hardwoods and wildlife in the area. The kids will love our lollipop hunts and outdoor movies every night. Plus there are special events scheduled almost every weekend all summer long.
We can accommodate reunions of up to 150 people, and every family member, from the youngest kids to the oldest grandparents, will find suitable accommodations available on our campground. We offer tent camping for those that like to rough it, RV sites for the well-equipped camper, plus cabins and cottages, and even lodges that sleeps big families. The campground has a covered pavilion with a group grill for your reunion gatherings.
